I hear people saying guns are dangerous and I personally agree with that statement ! I don't agree with banning firearms , I don't agree with the many different kinds of regulations set on firearms , I feel more guns should be put in the hands of every American because Guns save lives but also it can take a life , Guns were created to kill ! Guns were created to protect the one who holds the gun if his or her life is in danger or family and love ones in danger ! 

I feel we should let teachers in our schools to be cleared to have a gun on there side in case of a mass shooting occurs because maybe then young lives could be saved . schools should allow Staff members to open carry a gun on there side so they can locked down there class room and protect children ,teenagers from possibly being murdered by a unknown threat . school shooting wont stop but there are steps we can take to deal with the threats that can arise in our future . putting a gun in the hands of teachers ,school staff members  gives first response till help come  from local police .Guns if used WISELY can save innocent lives !! I feel a very intensive mental health evaluation can detect if someone is stable enough mentally to own and buy a gun before a background check occurs . I feel amo should fallow the same guidelines as fallowed with buying a hand gun , rifle ,Assult rifles and all kinds of firearms . If we take careful steps to who has a gun then maybe we can prevent school shootings like VCU shootings ,Virginia beach shootings or other dreadful  events from happening . Arming Teachers and enforcing a color card code system to the steps to licensing staff members to ensure that they pass a mental health screening ,Firearm safety class and a use-of-force state approved and approved training program by local police . These color code system will be broken down as red,yellow and green ! Teachers who has a gun in a school setting must pass and have all three color code cards and the approval is given by the local courthouse to ensure max security of the youth and safety . also would grant local police to pop up at random times to do license check to make sure it is up to date . I suggest a renewal of the color code cards to be monthly to yearly and renewal is as fallowed !

1. Yellow card Issued by a trained mental health doctor with a masters degree or higher to sign off  monthly for this color to be approved (monthly renewal)
2. Red card Issued is the use-of-force training , firearm safety classes ! all classes must be completed !(yearly renewal )
3. Green card is a background check and will be issued when all three color code cards are completed and approved by the local courthouse that is in that county .

All these cards will be treated just like a CCW permit  or permit given to carry a firearm in a school setting and will be treated as such .All school staff must obtain these cards as a requirement !

Thinking about security and safety is top on my Issues and is a growing concern not just in Virginia but national wide .I support the NRA, and the Rights to keep and bear arms for United States of America .

the news doesnt cover the oppression that transgender people or /and transsexual people face everyday ! Our government desires to erase transgender people by slowly stripping away all fundamental rights . Bathroom bills forcing transgender people to use a bathroom that doesnt corresponds with there true Gender . Laws that strip away Medical health care for medically needed procedures classified by the federal government as a cosmetic and not medically needed. Employment , housing , social structures within People who are trans are easily targeted ! they say they are protected but what proof is there to prove they are treated in same way as a biological Female or Male ? I as State Senator Of Virginia would create bills that would give transgender people rights as if they was born a man or woman given under the review of Mental health professional stating to the federal government that they are what they are a man who born a man but there true gender in there mind is female same goes for female to males ! everyone should be treated fairly and equally and no one should ever be targeted just because they are different . please keep in mind ! we all bleed the same , we all are the same !

Rethinking the Justice System ?

Lets take a broad look at how many people are currently locked up ! Virginia has an incarceration rate of 779 per 100,000 people (including prisons, jails, immigration detention, and juvenile justice facilities), meaning that it locks up a higher percentage of its people than many wealthy democracies do. Data shows that over the 40 years from  1978 to 2020 shows an increase in our local and state prisons and jails at 69,000.00 Virginia residents currently behind bars . data shows that number still rising and is greater then the whole Nation . The current amount of African American currently in our Jails ,Prisons systems are greater then other racial groups from current data gathered . This data shows that the numbers are high and that number needs to drop and that is what I imply to do is to engage different methods to cut down on the population within our  Incarceration Rates .
